What it does
A sealed system has no service port. This plier locks onto the copper line, a tungsten needle pierces it, and the refrigerant leaves through the 1/4 inch fitting into your recovery machine.
A knob sets the jaw for tube from 4 to 8 mm. The locking action holds the seal while the machine runs.
Good to know before you buy
- It is for technicians with a recovery machine. Venting refrigerant to the air is against federal law.
- It leaves a hole. The line is scrap afterwards.
