How to pick

  • Start with a cutter that covers your largest tube. The CT-650 reaches 2 inch. The mini cutter fits where it cannot turn.
  • Add a reamer. A cut tube has a lip inside that slows the water and wears the pipe.
  • Bend soft tube with a former. By hand it kinks.

Good to know before you buy

  • Wheel cutters are for tube walls under 0.1 inch. They are not for steel pipe.
  • The recovery plier is a trade tool. It needs a recovery machine and the training to use one.
  • A reamer cleans an edge. It will not fix a tube you crushed in the cut.
