What it does

This covers nearly every copper size in a house, from a 3/16 inch line to a 2 inch main. Two rows of ball-bearing rollers hold the tube so the wheel tracks in one groove.

The knob is rubber-wrapped for a fine feed. The deburring pen in the kit cleans the inside edge after the cut.

It is a step in one of our job rows: Join copper pipe.

Good to know before you buy

For tube walls under 0.1 inch. It is not for steel pipe.
Tighten a little each turn. Forcing the wheel ovals soft copper.
The deburring pen is for a light inner burr. For large tube, use a reamer such as the CT-211.

This tool is no tool, it's sharp. The tool has an edge to it that makes it stand apart from the rest, and never a dull moment.Tube and pipe stand no chance, you can cut them in half, with this in your pants.

~Will cut not just copper tubing but other things~I got this not sure I would need it but needed to cut some copper tubing when we had a leak, this works great.Easy to adjust to the size you need, then go around in circle till cut.

Heavy Duty Pipe Cutter

This pipe cutter feels heavy duty! My small close quarters tubing cutter is great for getting into tight spaces, but the cutting capacity is limited to around 1". This pipe cutter expands up to 2", but you need the clearance to be able to operate. Overall length is about 7.5" and width is 2.75". The knob is easy to grasp to tighten.
