What it does
When the torch is not enough. This forced-air heater burns propane and pushes up to 125,000 BTU through a fan. We rate it for ventilated spaces up to 3,125 square feet: a garage, a barn, a house under construction.
A dial sets the output between 95,000 and 125,000 BTU. The barrel tilts so you can aim the air. It shuts off on overheat and on flame-out.
Good to know before you buy
- For well-ventilated spaces only. It burns the air in the room.
- It needs a wall socket for the fan and igniter, and a propane tank you supply.
- Keep the outlet clear. It throws flame-heated air several feet.
