A pen with a 4 inch hot wire for carving letters and model terrain.
What it does
Hold it like a pen. The 4 inch wire heats to about 350°C and carves EPS, EVA and XPS with the control of a pencil. It suits lettering, cosplay parts and terrain.
Buttons on the handle set the heat. The adapter runs on 100 to 240 V.
It is a step in one of our job rows: Cut and shape foam.
Good to know before you buy
- A 15 W pen is for craft foam. It is slow in thick insulation board.
- Only two ratings so far.
- Clean the wire with the brush while it is warm, not hot.
