What it does
Before you flare a brake line the inside edge has to be clean. Press this three-flute tip into the tube end and give it a few turns.
The tip is heat-treated 40Cr steel. The handle is ribbed so it turns with oily fingers. Nothing to replace or adjust.
Good to know before you buy
- It cleans the inner edge only.
- Sized for 1/2 inch tubing. Other sizes need another tool.
- If you work on several tube sizes, the CT-211 reamer covers 1/4 to 1-3/8 inch.
